The Desk Service OT AB 100 is responsible for speeding up the items loan/return process through the desk service of your library. It takes a few seconds to accomplish, liquidating queues problems and considerably reducing the service waiting time.
Through a portable RFID UHF desk reader and software installed on the computer attendant, you can perform directly at the counter the loan or return of library materials, updating their situation on the RFID UHF tag.
Although the use of Self Check, the Desk Service also becomes necessary in some cases, for example:
Loan or Return items whose condition should be checked by an attendant;
Libraries that do not have the Self Check solution;
Libraries that choose to perform only loans in the Self Check.
