The OfficeTronic maintains regular and planned actions to disseminate and consolidate a set of Best Practices for Social Responsibility, both for internal collaborators and the community in which it operates.
1 Watch for internal employees, respecting their differences of race, religion, social class, nationality and gender, compliance with regulatory standards in the Ministério do Trabalho e Emprego and related to Programa de Prevenção dos Riscos Ambientais – PPRA and the Programa de Controle Médico de Saúde Ocupacional – PCMSO, and encourage and support the improvement and professional development.
2 Conscious use of natural supplies through simple practices like, for example, use of recycled paper in their activities, use of electronic lamps for better energy efficiency, fill of company vehicles with renewable sources (ethanol) fuel, using soldering stations with electronic temperature control soldering, etc.
3 Ethical and transparent relationships with collaborators, suppliers and customers, set in clear and objectives contracts to the correct and perfect development of each activity, where all parties work together for the same final objective: sustainable results.
4 Technological innovation in the selection of suppliers of raw materials and products compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances). It is a European directive (not yet law) that prohibits certain dangerous substances for used in the manufacturing processes of products, Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and lead (Pb). The OfficeTronic goals are:
- Use of unleaded weld wire in the industrialization of electronic equipment;
- Collect and give proper e-waste disposal;
- Selling electronics equipments and provide services using RoHS hardware compliant;
- Not using of printed on marketing;
- When necessary, use of recyclable materials, internally.
